  • BIO

I am a documentary photographer from Barcelona. I hold a BA in Design and I've worked for a few years as a graphic designer until 2010, when I devoted to photography full time. In 2011 I moved to London where I graduated from distinction on the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the LCC for my long-term project on the Mennonite communities in Bolivia.

Since then, I've been working on topics such as economic crisis, migration, conflict and religious disputes in Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa and South America. I feel honoured my work has been awarded in several international competitions such as the DB Award for Photography, the AOP Student Photographer of the Year, the POYi, the Lucie IPA Awards, and recently winner of the Taylor-Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

I publish and work for a wide range of international media, including the Sunday Times Magazine, the BJP, Io Donna, Newsweek Japan, the CNN, Die Zeit or El Pais.

I'm currently represented by German agency Laif.
