Jordi Ruiz Cirera is a documentary photographer from Barcelona based in London. He first studied design at Elisava school, before moving to London to attend the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the LCC, from where he graduated with distinction in 2011.
Jordi's work has been awarded and shortlisted in several international competitions, including the DB Award for Photography, the AOP Student Photographer of the Year, the POYi, the Lucie Awards, and recently the Taylor-Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize.
His work has been exhibited widely, and published in different printed and online medias including the Sunday Times Magazine, the BJP, Il Corriere della Sera, Gara, Wired or Photo8 story of the week.
Jordi is currently represented by the German agency Laif.
